[ME2026] DONGHWA Hi-Tech Highlights Industrial Heating Technologies for Modern Manufacturing Processes

Customized Thermal Solutions for Heating, Drying, and Molding Applications Presented at Thailand’s Leading Manufacturing Exhibition

Heat management has become an increasingly important element in modern manufacturing. Across industries ranging from plastics processing and metalworking to electronics and chemical production, precise temperature control directly influences product quality, process stability, and operational efficiency.

Recognizing the growing importance of thermal engineering in industrial production, DONGHWA Hi-Tech participated in Manufacturing Expo 2026 (ME2026), held from June 17 to 20 at the BITEC Exhibition Center in Bangkok, Thailand.

The exhibition brought together seven co-located industry events, including InterPlas Thailand 2026, InterMold Thailand 2026, Automotive Manufacturing 2026, Surface & Coatings 2026, NEPCON Thailand 2026, Assembly & Automation 2026, and FACTECH 2026. The event served as a meeting point for manufacturers, engineers, and technology providers from across Southeast Asia.

DONGHWA Hi-Tech joined the Korea Pavilion organized by the Changwon Industry Promotion Agency (CWIP), showcasing a range of industrial heating systems and thermal solutions designed for diverse manufacturing environments.

[ME2026] DONGHWA Hi-Tech Highlights Industrial Heating Technologies for Modern Manufacturing Processes

Unlike consumer heating equipment, industrial heaters are engineered to deliver controlled thermal energy under demanding operating conditions. Their role extends beyond simply generating heat; they are integral components of production processes that require consistent temperatures, stable performance, and application-specific designs.

The company specializes in the complete development cycle of industrial heating equipment, including engineering, design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing. This integrated approach enables DONGHWA Hi-Tech to develop customized thermal solutions tailored to customer requirements.

Among the products displayed at the exhibition were immersion heaters, induction heaters, cast-in heaters, hot-air heaters, sheath heaters, and block heaters.

One of the most widely used technologies in the company’s portfolio is the immersion heater.

Immersion heaters are designed to directly heat liquids, thermal oils, and gases by placing the heating element in contact with the target medium. They are commonly utilized in storage tanks, chemical processing facilities, food manufacturing plants, and industrial utility systems where efficient heat transfer is required.

By transferring thermal energy directly into the medium, immersion heaters can support process stability while accommodating a wide range of installation environments.

Another key technology introduced at the exhibition was the induction heating system.

Induction heating utilizes electromagnetic energy to generate heat directly within metallic materials. This approach minimizes heat loss and allows localized heating of specific components. The technology is particularly suitable for roller heating applications and continuous production lines where temperature consistency is critical.

As manufacturers pursue greater process control and energy efficiency, induction heating has attracted growing interest across various industrial sectors.

DONGHWA Hi-Tech also highlighted its cast-in heater solutions.

These products are manufactured by embedding heating elements within aluminum, brass, or cast iron structures shaped to match specific molds and equipment. The resulting close thermal contact improves heat distribution and supports molding processes that require stable temperature control.

As automotive and electronics components become increasingly sophisticated, mold temperature management has emerged as an important factor influencing production quality and cycle time.

Hot-air heaters were another area of focus during the exhibition.

These systems are commonly used for drying, surface treatment, coating preparation, and continuous production processes. By supplying controlled hot airflow, manufacturers can maintain consistent processing conditions across various industrial applications.

According to Assistant Manager Cho Min-seok of DONGHWA Hi-Tech, industrial heating systems often operate behind the scenes but play a fundamental role in manufacturing performance.

“Industrial heaters may not be visible in the final product, but they directly influence production quality, operational stability, and process efficiency,” Cho said. “Different industries require different heating approaches, and our goal is to provide thermal solutions optimized for each customer’s manufacturing environment.”

Southeast Asia continues to experience growth in automotive manufacturing, electronics production, plastics processing, and food processing industries. As factories expand and automation levels increase, demand for precise thermal control technologies is also rising.

Cho noted that manufacturers are increasingly looking for solutions capable of supporting both productivity improvements and energy management objectives.

“Manufacturing facilities today require more than basic heating equipment,” he said. “Customers are seeking technologies that can support process optimization, thermal stability, and long-term operational reliability. We see continued opportunities for industrial heating solutions across the region.”

He added that DONGHWA Hi-Tech plans to continue expanding its customized thermal engineering capabilities while supporting customers in a broad range of industrial sectors.

At ME2026, DONGHWA Hi-Tech demonstrated how industrial heating technologies contribute to critical manufacturing processes, from heating and drying to molding and thermal management. As production requirements become increasingly sophisticated, the role of precision thermal control is expected to become even more significant across global manufacturing industries.
