Donghwa Hitech Successfully Registers Proprietary “Fluidized Bed Cleaning Apparatus Based on Induction Heating” (Patent No. 2986283)

“A major leap toward sustainable, eco-friendly industrial solutions. Our next-generation thermal cleaning technology simultaneously maximizes production efficiency and equipment durability.”

Donghwa Hitech is proud to announce that we have officially completed the patent registration in South Korea for our proprietary induction heating-based “Cleaning Apparatus”. This breakthrough successfully overcomes the structural and durability limitations of conventional thermal cleaning systems.

  • Patent Title: Cleaning Apparatus (세정장치)
  • Patent Number: No. 2986283
  • Registration Date: June 30, 2026

Why is a Fluidized Bed Cleaning Apparatus Essential?

Production equipment in industries such as plastics, chemical processing, and synthetic fiber manufacturing frequently suffers from polymer residues, paints, oils, and other stubborn contaminants adhering to critical components. In particular, if the micro-holes of a spinneret pack used in synthetic fiber spinning become clogged, defect rates during extrusion can skyrocket.

To safely, physically, and chemically peel off these contaminants at high temperatures without damaging precision parts, fluidized bed thermal cleaning—which utilizes moving micro-particles like aluminum oxide as a heat transfer medium—stands as the industry-standard solution.

3 Core Innovation Points of Our New Patented Technology

1. Induction Heating System: Zero Burnouts & Maximum Durability

  • The Traditional Limitation: Conventional thermal cleaning systems rely on external electric heating coils. This exposes the cleaning vessel directly to extreme external heat, leading to rapid degradation of the chamber and frequent burnouts of the heating elements.
  • Donghwa Hitech’s Innovation: Our technology utilizes a cleaning vessel made of conductive metal, heated internally via magnetic fields generated by an induction coil wound at a safe distance outside the insulation. Because heat is generated directly inside the vessel itself without volatile heating filaments, equipment damage is virtually eliminated, and the operational lifespan of the system is dramatically extended.

2. Bi-Metal (Fe + Stainless Steel) Hybrid Design for High Thermal Efficiency & Corrosion Resistance

  • The bottom gas supply section and top overflow prevention section, which are directly exposed to highly corrosive fluidizing and combustion gases, are forged from premium Stainless Steel (SUS) to completely prevent rust and structural degradation.
  • In contrast, the middle section of the chamber—which remains in constant contact with the fluidized medium and demands rapid heat transfer—is constructed of highly conductive Iron (Fe). This hybrid material integration delivers exceptional induction heating speed while ensuring long-term structural integrity against corrosion.

3. “Washer-Free” Specialized Gas Distributor: Reduced Production Costs & Uniform Gas Flow

  • Standard gas distribution nozzles require separate washers to manually adjust the micro-gaps, which increases the component count, raises assembly costs, and complicates maintenance.
  • Donghwa Hitech’s patented design integrates micro-protrusions directly onto the bottom surface of the bolt head. This unique structure naturally forms precise, uniform gas flow paths upon assembly without needing a single separate washer. By drastically reducing the number of parts, we have lowered manufacturing costs while ensuring the fluidizing gas is perfectly distributed for absolute thermal uniformity and flawless cleaning performance.
